Plot:
Willy Wonka is a hopeful chocolatier who comes to a new town to sell the sweets he makes. When Slugworth, Fickelgruber, and Prodnose, also known as the “Chocolate Cartel,” find out that Willy’s chocolates are actually tasty, they see him as a competitor and try to shut him down. The Chief of Police is used to stop Willy from selling his candy, and Scrubbit and Bleacher, the owners of the laundromat, make Willy and a few other people work for them. Willy teams up with Noodle, an orphan, and their friends to keep making and selling chocolate. When Willy opens his own store in the town square, Slugworth talks Scrubbit and Bleacher into poisoning Willy’s chocolate. People who eat it get hairy and their skin turns weird colors. People trash and damage Willy’s store. He then says that he will forgive Willy’s bills and everyone else’s if he leaves town and never makes chocolate again. Willy agrees, but he quickly figures out that Noodle is in trouble because she is linked to Slugworth. He gets together with an Oompa Loompa named Lofty to go back because the Chocolate Cartel set his boat on fire. Willy and his friends try to break into the Chocolate Cartel’s vault under a church to get a record that will show what they’ve been up to. The Chocolate Cartel hides a huge amount of chocolate from everyone else. When they are caught, it comes out that Noodle is Slugworth’s niece. He kept her from her mother after his brother died so that he could get the family’s money. The bad guys try to drown Willy and Noodle in chocolate, but Lofty finds them and sets them free. The Chief is caught when Willy and Noodle bring the ledger to the police. Slugworth, Fickelgruber, and Prodnose float away because they ate Willy’s sticky candies that make people fly without realizing it. Willy also makes their chocolate supply come out of a stream, which ruins them. Willy goes back to work while helping Noodle find her mother and meet her. He opens his famous chocolate business with the help of Lofty. Abacus, Lottie, Piper, and Larry all go back to their old jobs and loved ones. Scrubbit and Bleacher are also booked into jail.
