Rather than slay the infant queen of a rival clan, Yang, the best swordsman in the world, packs it in and heads out of Japan to visit an old friend in the Wild West. After carrying the child to his buddy’s abandoned, dilapidated village, Yang discovers that his friend has passed away. Yang reopens a laundry and makes himself at home, cultivating flowers, drying clothes, caring for the child, and becomes drawn to Lynne, a redhead with a tragic past. Yang’s adversaries won’t find him as long as he keeps his blade sheathed, but a group of renegade shooters menace the town and put Lynne in danger. Unavoidably, showdowns will occur, but will Yang find a place to sleep, a family, and a home once the blade is drawn?
